| Smaller items Flax can be used in such a variety of ways - woven, plaited, shredded. Combined with paua or feathers. Formed into large practical baskets, or used to create smaller decorative pieces, like the kete shown here. As with the larger kete, each piece is individually woven by hand. These smaller kete could be displayed alone, grouped together or used to contain little treasures. Arranged on the wall, on a display shelf or table. Given, filled with other treasures, or alone, as a creative gift. The possibilities are as endless as your imagination! |
