How to care for your flax kete

Store your kete in a dry place - moisture and dampness may cause mould to form, as the flax is a natural, not synthetic, fibre.

For 'handbag' style kete - hang up by the handles when not in use (but not with heavy weight inside) This will keep the handles straight - prevent them from twisting.

Avoid water - water splashes may discolour the flax. If splashed - wipe dry immediately.

Flax is a strong natural fibre, however, will eventually 'wear and tear' if worked hard. To preserve the beauty of your kete, use it with a reasonable degree of care, and avoid carrying heavy weight, or overfilling it.

Remember, your kete is precious!
